RateGain Travel Technologies and Razorpay have joined forces to enhance hotel payment processing across India by introducing a comprehensive, flexible, and secure digital payment framework. Under this collaboration, RateGain’s Booking Engine now integrates Razorpay’s advanced payment infrastructure, offering hotel guests a diverse range of payment options including UPI, mobile wallets, net banking, domestic and international credit/debit cards, EMIs (card and cardless), and Pay Later solutions .
This strategic integration aims to elevate both guest experience and operational efficiency. Hoteliers will benefit from real-time transaction tracking, automated settlement reporting, and centralized dashboards—all designed to streamline financial reconciliation and reduce manual workload. On the security front, the partnership meets top-tier standards, featuring PCI DSS Level 1 and SOC 3 compliance, coupled with robust fraud detection mechanisms
Commenting on the alliance, Yogeesh Chandra, Chief Strategy Officer at RateGain, emphasized the initiative’s role in boosting conversion rates and simplifying checkouts via AI-driven automation. He explained that providing multiple payment options removes barriers to booking and creates a smoother, more intuitive guest journey . Rahul Kothari, COO of Razorpay, added that with India's hospitality industry projected to reach USD 125 billion by 2027—and over 70% of hotel bookings expected to be digital—this partnership is pivotal for meeting the demands of today’s digitally savvy travelers
As India’s travel and hospitality sectors continue their digital transformation, this collaboration is poised to significantly improve both guest satisfaction and hotel revenue through smarter, faster, and more secure payments.
